Finally Getting Something Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the first couple of knives I made since my wrist surgery back in June. Things have been slow and painful since then but I'm making progress. Still don't feel comfortable engraving much yet but I hope to be at that shortly. I guess a six inch titanium plate and six screws will do that!

The first is a Barlow style slip joint with black micarta handles. The second is a 3 blade slip joint with mammoth ivory. The three blade slip joint was a first for me and all though I can pick out about 100 things that are wrong with it I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks for looking and as always comments and constructive criticisms are welcome.

I like them both. The three blade is a real touch of class!
You have enough metal in your wrist to make a third folder, just like my back.
Hope you continue to heal well.

They both look good, but I think I like the second the best. I bet it feels good to be back in the shop. Welcome back.

That is an *awesome* barlow. I love the simple elegance. Very well done, and very inspirational for me.

Good job on both of them, I'm sure most everyone would like to have either one in their pocket. Dan

Kirby, if I could do a hundred things wrong and end up with a beautiful kinfe like that, I would be a happy guy!! Love them both.
