Finally got a 27

Here is a swet 27 in ivory along with a 25-6 that is a pretty good match. I had been waiting for a nice SS version in stag to pop up, but I had to have this one when I saw it. I got the 25 from the Cap some time back and the 27 came from Will Talbot who is great to deal with. They both feel great in the hand, but will probably never see their intended uses. I'll probably send the 27 to the shop to get the buttcap rounded.

Really nice Byrdguy! Love that ivory and I'll bet that since you live near the coast that you don't have trouble with the queen mother of handle materials the way I do. I guess a guy has to give and take. I never worry about my sailboat washing up in my back yard but the weather gives my ivory fits here in Dan'l Boone country. Wish it wasn't so but it is.

Congrats on joining the #27 club, Byrdguy!

What a way to start with an ivory handle!

You still need to get some stag configurations, with brass and nickel silver hardware and then we will teach you the secret "Trailblazer" handshake.

Cheers!

Beautiful knife, Byrdguy! Don't give up the idea of using it. You only go around once

Best,

Ron
