Hidden tang handle

What is the strongest handle for a hidden tang knife. I mean what type such as mortised, take down, etc... is the strongest design?

Properly made with carefully chosen materials any of those designs will make a handle that is more than strong enough for any knife. As an example, think of the Samurai sword: they have long blades built for hard use yet the blade is attached to the handle by a stub of metal maybe 3" long and a wooden pin.

It's not the design you choose but how well you can execute it....
