Just wondering if anyone had heard from Ed, just thinking about him and wondering if anyone had any word on him.

Mike

Looking for me????

Hi Mike (and everyone)!

I'm still here......in the middle of nowhere. All these years I've often wondered where that place is.......now I've found it.

Every now and then I get to look at the forums, and I just happened to see this post. Things are finally starting to cool down here (temp wise). Nights have been in the high 60s to low 70s. Daytime temps are more bareable too, being in the high 80s to low 90s.
It's the beginning of thier "winter" here, and the winds are blowing up dust storms on a daily basis. Thank goodness for those desert goggles they issued me!

We are putting in 12+ hours per day, so the time is moving along. Just hit the 2 month mark, with only 4 more to go! Of course unless the Iraq deal falls through.......then all bets are off!
I'm hoping to be back home in time for the Eugene show, but we'll just have to see how things play out over here. My Mrs. made reservations at the hotel for the Blade Show, now let's hope I get a table.

It's for sure.......unless something major prevents it, I'm gona put in my retirement paperwork as soon as I get home. That should make me a free man in early September of 03. I'd like to have a retirement party/hammer In sometime next fall, but again, nothing is for sure until those retirement orders come through.

I'll check back in as often as I can, and let you know how things are here. In the mean time, I hope everyone has a wonder Thanksgiving!
