Started my new job today. So I might be able to submit a knife, but without a sheath.

I just finished! I still have to put together the sheath but this is the general idea.

Ray, I'll get the specs and my info sent off tomorrow... or I suppose later today depending on how you look at it.

I'm also looking forward to getting any of these knives... and I'm worried that mine won't compare. Something to work toward I guess!

Eli - congrats on your new job! Is it a different line of work altogether or just a different business?

Ryan,

That looks great! I really like that handle.

Eli,

There will probably be a few days, maybe up to a week, while the voting is done that you could get a sheath done before you had to ship your knife out. Anyway, sheath or not, we need your knife in this KITH.....

Eli i agree with ray!

And Ryan I'm still new at this myself man. I changed my mind back and forth about this worrying if my blade was good enough. I know where you are at and that is a fine looking knife. Hell i would be tickled to end up with it!

You don't have to use Outlook, you could set up a free Yahoo or Gmail account and send from there. You need an email address for the voting process and the exchange that follows ...

Eric,

Good, the hard part is done. Next thing is to use that account to send your picture to knives@rayrogers.com so I can get it into the little system I created to manage the KITH entries.

Eli,

That looks great! Make up a picture of that knife and a ruler, and a sheath if there is one, and email it to me.

I can get the voting emails sent out to all of you as soon as I receive the remaining pictures of the entries ....

Eric,

That's the beauty of using an internet mail system like Gmail - you don't need to know the server names. Sounds like you're still trying to set up Outlook, you don't need Outlook to use gmail. Just use your browser to go to gmail.com and sign in using whatever ID and password you used to set up your gmail account. That puts you into your email account. Click the 'Compose' button to compose an email. Put my address in the appropriate line, type in a Subject for the subject line, put a description of the knife in the body of the email, and click the 'Attach a file' button to add your picture to the email. Press 'Send' and you're done ...
