Good deal...
Happy New year to all of you,
Due to a major problem in my family, I've been out for 6 months and did nothing on knives, I was really not in the mood for that. But now I'm slowly getting back to knifemaking. I just bought this motor on a Dutch Ebay like site. It will be use on my homemade grinder. Motor is 2HP, shaft dia. is 25mm (1"). The great think is, that it's fitted with a gearbox, giving variable speed from 314 to 2800 rpm With this one I don't need a AC variable speed motor and Controller (big money). And the price was OK: ?75 ($98). Wha do you think of this old beast? Bernez __________________ Be patient: in time, even an egg will walk. Last edited by Bernez; 01-07-2005 at 04:06 PM. |

Looks nice, Is it 50 or 60 cycles,, 110VAC or 220VAC, seem to recall Europe uses 50 cycles AC. Might get an electricians opinion on it.
