Nice Walt. That design will work well and you will find it easy to make a good pouch sheath for that design.
Good advice above, thing about testing is knowing. Don't ever give away, gift, or sell a knife that you are not completely confident in. The only way you can have confidence in you work is to test it completely. Just part of the process. No, you don't have to "break 'em all", but you need to break a few so you will know. Studying a broken blade will tell you a lot about your process.
