Thanks guys I enjoy projects like this that a) take a little design planning, and b) work out the way I hoped ! In this case, the rod holder bent slightly when I stitched it (to conform to the shape of the sheath). The slight curve made it impossible to get the EZELap in I dampened it slightly and ran a steel rod through it, let it dry, and Presto, the fit was perfect.
