My pal Bill knows just how much you folks love them pictures, so he sent me a photo of a half dozen of his
kinda different #1's.
Bill's description of the fighters is as follows:
# 1 Ward Gay handle.
# 2 Crown Stag
# 3 Taper with finger grips.(feels really good)
# 4 I am pretty sure this is called a Springfield shape. (catalog has an outline of a #1 in this handle shape)
# 5 Cocobolo with ivory scrim of two color black widow. (Bowles)
# 6 Cocobolo concave with "coolie cap" butt.
