My understanding and research into several brands of HT ovens always seems to lead back to Paragon. Some points to consider. .. Design of the drop down door to minimize heat loss and gets the door out of the way for safety, cut off switch when the door opens, the 12 key controller, ease of programming, saving 'recipes' or ramp programs, gas injection options, temperature limit of 2350degrees, high quality components and customer service from Paragon all add up to a powerful sum.Im looking forward to owning the km-18 model (I'm saving pennies for a new one as there are Zero used ones available..) 2cents from a newbie only!
