" King of the Ice"
These boys had so much fun teaching me to ski, they figured I was ready to learn to play hockey...I strapped on a pair of ice-skates, and man, did they cramp my feet!Helmet and elbow
pads,a curved stick, and I was ready..they said...I couldn't even stand up on those things.
Some-one would whomp that little puck thing to me, and I would try to knock it back. Forget
it, all I managed to do was fall down some more...this was getting old. I never did get the hang
of this one....Figured I better stick to skiing. The snow was softer than that ice....
