Thanks everyone for the encouragement! It kinda feels weird packing the suitcase and not having to get all the knive and associated show stuff ready too. In a way I'm looking at this as a small vacation out of the shop, but it's also a time to knuckle down and learn all that I can in the time I alloted.

Lynda from GRS was telling last time we spoke on the phone that they have a brand new training facility, so I'm anxious to see what it's like. The best part is that she told me it has air conditioning!
According to the class schedule I received, there are a couple of hours each night set aside after the day's class has ended, where students can stay and work on their own......I know I'll be taking advantage of that!
