It is kind of a good thing though because it keeps the wood from sliding into the tube when I put a blade in. I just threw mine together in a couple hours so mine is not pretty but man is it nice to have. You'll wish you made it sooner.

hey icho and kev . i read some where today a guy used hockey pucks instead of wood . i think pucks are 3" od. x 1" thick . im sure if you glued or screwed a few of them together , then cut then in half that would work awesome ?
