I live about 41 miles from where they are manufactured. This is the most "user-friendly" stiletto blade in the industry! The CPM-154 steel is great, is razor-sharp and has a needle-point. My nickname for the piece came from the Season 1 Episode 1 of Yancy Derringer entitled "Return To New Orleans" (1959 Desilu Studios). I call it "my apple peeler".
As I took it out of the package this morning, I was pleased beyond measure. This is, by definition, the best "pocket Stiletto" in the world! Tight and cracks like a whip when opened. It can even be opened with two fingers (No "bounce-back" at all). It has everything I want, nothing that isn't needed. I'm "happier than a speckled pup under a red wagon".
