Your knife looks much like my 12-9. This Randall knife has a interesting history. I was owned by George Urick who spent 22 months in Vietnam. I am attaching a photo of his letter about the knife, I note he did misspell knife in the letter. The knife was one of three sent in 1965, apparently this is the only one to survive. Mr Urick is mentioned on page 108 in the book " Officer, Nurse, Woman: The Army Nurse Corps in the Vietnam War" by Kara Dixon Vuic. I am sure as a nurse who was not allowed to carry a firearm the Randall model 12 was a comfort. Still in beautiful shape, considering it was in country, though it has obviously seen use it is well preserved. Apologies for the less than stellar photography, it snowed again last night so I was not going to take this outside.
