To the Newbies
Every Sunday at 5 pm Pacific we have a Chat Room discussion that is specifically intended to help new knife makers get answers to all the common questions we all have when we first take up this endeavor. We have a great core group of experienced makers (some of whom were newbies when the Chat Room first started) and some old timers who drop in from time to time. What we don't have lately is enough newbies.
The Chat Room is easy to use, its free, and it is there for you. If you are a new knife maker or even a lurker on this forum you owe it to yourself to visit the Chat Room at least once. If you can't visit another knife maker in his shop then this is the next best thing!
I post a reminder every Sunday morning with instructions (go to a web page, sign in with your name) telling you how to get to the Chat Room. It doesn't matter if opportunity knocks if you don't answer the door ....
