Well, I found some time over the weekend to do some grinding, and after about 15 minutes of very light duty stuff, the problems came back. The motor got really hot, stuttered and skipped and slowed down.
I "thought" it was the motor so I found a deal online and bought a replacement. I just hooked it up, picked up where I left off on my knife and after 15 minutes of grinding the same thing happened
I let it cool off, start it up without a belt, and after 5 or so minutes it did the same thing.
I have no idea now. Could the VFD be fried and making the motor do strange things?
Thoughts?
