I have some agate and softer jasper level stones that will be used shortly. The tiger iron piece is in the finishing stages which triggered the question. I've felt that a much better finish could be attained. The lapidary guys have these big setup's in use which I don't want to approach as far as machine/gear purchases.
I've not taken the handle down enough to get a really nice finish with the cerium oxide so these finer belts and or pre-polish techniques are a step in that direction.
