Talking about those bird feeders reminded me of something hilarious that happened last fall when
I put them up.My wife has a couple of those ceramic red Cardinals for her flower bed.I put them
out in the yard under the feeder-these are life size and really look like real birds.
My neighbor's big yellow cat spied them one day, and figured it was dinnertime....It must have taken him 15 min to get ready to make his move, tail twitching, doing the low crawl and bunching
up his muscles for his big move.I could hear his teeth click, clear in the house.That was one shocked tabby.Surprised he didn't break a tooth.Before he went back home, he walked over and
swatted the birds with his paw, just to knock them over.....
