Well let me add a few pics of my progress.
I went with a 3:1 (Dist. Water / FC) solution.
Put the blades in the bath for 10 minutes, removed them, sanded them with 600 grit and put them back in for another 10 minutes. I like the pattern. Let's see how the handles will turn out...
