Do any threads actually disappear without a moderator deleting them?
I suspect this is a question that crops up a lot. To my surprise, I knew the answer because I learned it from the book, "The Art of Hand Sewing Leather" by Al Stohlman. My copy (from Tandy) doesn't have a date in it, but I suspect the original goes back to the 1950's, judging from the pictures in it.
Don Cowles had the right answer. I've got a beautiful knife he made that I bought a LONG time ago when we were raising money for someone.
