Per Doug Kenefick, the reason for the small Sasquatch not being numbered is because they were produced after the original large Sasquatch, and he didn't want to confuse them numerically. You can certainly order a matching pair from Doug and have them numbered as a pair, but a single small knife will not be numbered solo.
At this time, The current production numbers are in the 840's. That is not many of them considering they are nearly 40 years old!
Interesting factoid: The first knife delivered to Doug in Nov. 1977 is NOT #001. It isn't etched at all!
