I am in the Concho Valley but I'd be willing to drive anywhere in the Permian Basin, the South Plains, the Big Country, or the Hill Country to visit another knife maker and see how an experienced maker works, if anyone in West Texas is open to having a visitor that will try to ask intelligent questions, and will be respectful of your time, space, and expertise.
