Went to the flea market/swap meet thing in town and found this dagger at a knife salesman, claimed he got it as a trade and thought it was from India. All I know is that he grinded the dagger to make it look cleaner and I got it dirt cheap as a result.
My main question is obviously what it is in the first place.
So far:
no maker marks at all possibly grinded off.
Small black wood inlaid on handle possibly ebony?
Rusted green from the wire on the scabbard. Wrapping on the end not tarnished in the same way.
Small rolled hoop on the scabbard as if to hang it from.
