See what I mean? Sharpening tools like the Edge Pro and Lansky systems have methods for setting a particular angle. If you have a grinder with a platen and a work rest you can use a protractor to set the angle, just be very careful not to let the blade get pulled into the gap between the platen and work rest. If you don't have any of these things then just do what you usually do. I say again, this is to evaluate and improve on the HT and, possibly, the edge geometry you already use. We've already said we will re-grind and re-sharpen as required so don't obsess over it.

Also, if anybody needs pointers on the HT process, this would be a good time to ask your questions ...
