The crowning is related to the tracking. A grinder with no crowned wheels probably won't track worth a darn. Most grinders have only the tracking wheel crowned. I can't see where having the drive wheel crowned would hurt anything - and apparently it doesn't because Rob does it that way - but most grinders don't crown that wheel.........
