S&P = sulfur and phosphorus, both are bad for tool steels, so they saying how much of a minimum they keep it too. Both the Cr and the Mn are for increased hardenability, there is very little corrosion resistance offered from that level of Cr. The O-1 will edge out the O-2 on abrasion resistance, but with your setup the O-2 will be easier to optimize. I use both steels and like O-2 very much in Damascus as the Mn causes it to etch black as midnight.
