Well Rockhound, that is just outstanding work and results! Have never seen a leather washer handle with flats like that, usually they are always round. And it looks great that way, as do the brass pommel and guard + spacers. I think the pits give it great character, and tell a story.

The sheath is exceptional. Love how you took the time and put the finished side out on the belt loop. The stamping and grooves are outstanding also, along with the overall design. Much better than what that knife would originally have had. I can also see that the stitching holes all line up in the center of the grooves, and nicely burnished edges. That I know takes attention to detail.
