Thumbs up Making a single blade slipjoint folder

Don Robinson will lead you through all the steps from start to finish making a single blade slipjoint pocket knife using traditional pin construction.

A complete CAD design for the knife will be furnished to you after you sign up for the course.

Minimum required equipment:

Drill press, belt sander, propane or acetylene torch, 4% silver solder and flux, and miscellaneous hand tools.

Suggested helpful equipment:

Small milling machine, Knifemaker's belt grinder.

Materials needed:

3/32" blade and back spring material, .030 to .040 brass or stainless steel sheet, bolster material, 1/16" and 3/32"" dia. pin material to match bolsters, a 3/32" reamer, a #44 drill, a center drill.

Duration of class is 45 days.

Cost: $49.95 includes CAD design.
