Thanks crex that what i wanted to know if that grit was supposed to be there.....
so anyway i got the itc stuff none (well it dried overnight going to go fire it now) but my next step is the bubble alumina on the bottom 1/3. i read in a thread on this forum that they couldnt get the stuff to stick on the walls when covered with satinite so they were putting it directly on the wool....i did not know that didnt say much on high temp about cure time thats why i went looking. i dont have alot of the stuff so i dont wanna mess up and do it twice. in the other thread they were doing a vertical....mine is horizontal and i only plan on going 1/3 up you guys think it will stick or is there another way of doing this?
