Kansas Knifemakers Association Forming:
Several handmade knifemaker?s in our great State our seeking individuals who are interested in the art of making knives by hand, be it the stock removal method or forging method. We are hoping to have enough interest to start an association within the state.
Right now we are simply trying to gather names and contact information from interested individuals. Our ultimate goal will be to have shop tours maybe once a quarter where information can be exchanged and demonstrations put on for both stock removal makers and forgers. We also want to eventually sponsor a show for handmade knives and knife supplies only. Anyone from outside of Kansas is also most welcome to join.
