NP, I searched around to see where guys were running their variables at before I built mine (belt drive). Everything I read was mostly around 30% so that's where I started. I think you'll like the performance at that RPM, I sure do. You've got some nice designs as well. I especially like your sheath designs. I may have to 'borrow' some of the design features in the future. They look awesome and very practical. The biohazard isn't part of the zombie craze if you can believe it. I'm actually a Medical Lab Scientist in my pay-for-knifemaking-job, so a biohazard sign seemed pretty relevant to incorporate in my logo.

I have a knife that I made in 1992 that I stuck it in a fence post and thought I had lost it and after3 months I found it and it showed a little red that wiped off with a little oil on it . And you can't see any rust yet today . But I have used super glue under the bolsters and if you do wear a face shield because the super glue will splatter. Really if you have a good tight fit I don't think you need it . Or when you clean the knife put a little WD40 by the bolster and wipe off the access.
