Mister Cashen, as l read on some other forum You have used 1.2842- O2-90MnCrV8 steel, and You have been very very satisfied by performance and other qualities of this alloy for knives.

My question is about quenching, and complete heat treatment because l am able to buy it for some knives.
Dimensions of knives will be L= from 85-150 mm-(blades), thickness from 3,5-6mm, hidden tang and full tang blades.

What will be Your suggestion for Rockwell hardnes, temperatures and number of heat treating cycles.

All Your useful informations and blacksmiths tricks are very important to me, also some informations about simple cryogenic treatment in home freezer.

My best regards to You, Boris Pisot (Boris P)
