1095 Deferentially HT. Rams horn scales, 416 stainless pins and rat tailed bolsters and a tapered tang

1084 brass bolsters, 3/32 brass pins, Stabilized Swordfish Bill scales. deferentially heat treated 58 on the balde/45 on the spine. Flat grind with a relief grind on the spine of the full length of blade. about a 9" blade, 5 " handle. about 14" Over All Length.

My first knives, I'm hooked. Plans for a new design, or grind... knives creep into my thoughts far too frequently!

I made this to be raffled off during the 2015 Johnson County Sheriffs Office Charity motorcycle ride (Indiana).

Kitchen knife/chef's knife made from Aldos O1 tool steel, 3/32 thick to start. HT - Texaco type A oil quench. Desert Iron Wood scales (affixed with accraglass and 6 - 3/32 dia brass pins) yellow liners. Ground to about .022 edge thickness and then hand sanded to 800 grit. I applied a layer of renaissance wax for protection, as there will be lots of people handling the knife before it finds it final home.
